Chol Dut: Providing the assist to elevate up-and-coming Aussie basketball talent

After developing a passion in training his friends in basketball, Sudanese-Australian Chol Dut decided to take his talents one step further by establishing Melbourne-based Elevate Basketball in 2015.

Since then, Elevate Basketball has been a stepping stone for a number of successful Australian players, including Sydney Kings’ Deng Deng and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Deng Adel.

CulturalPulse got the chance to learn more about one of Elevate Basketball’s elite programs, the All-Australian Basketball Camp 2019, where 100 of Australia’s best up-and-coming players of all backgrounds came together to train and gain exposure from scouts around the world.
